You are a special person because you have chosen to review what it takes to be a gestational carrier or a surrogate!

"I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl for my intended parents on August 17th, 2007.  When people ask how "I" felt, I say my heart has never been fuller from the love I saw in my intended mother's face the day her daughter took her first breath.  I know this baby girl was so loved.

Would I share my life and the life of my family again?  Yes.  I would take that journey called surrogacy with Meryl Rosenberg again.  I would recommend her to one & all.

A special thank you to my intended parents for letting me carry their child.  My family has truly been blessed."

The choice to become a gestational carrier or a surrogate requires serious thought, commitment of time, energy, and emotion, and family support.  The experience will be one that is not only rewarding for the surrogate and her family, but also one that brings joy to all involved.  To become a gestational carrier or a surrogate, there is initial screenings and interviews, medical and psychological testing, in the case of gestational surrogacies fertility treatments in order to make sure that you respond to the necessary medications involved in the IVF process and to synchronize your cycle with that of the egg donor, then of course pregnancy and delivery.  Travel may also be required depending upon where you live and where the intended parent lives and where the IVF center or physician is located.  This is all carefully explained and coordinated by my office.

"I have known Meryl for about 10 years and am on my 4th surrogacy with her.  She listens when you have to vent and is easily accessible.  If you have questions or concerns regarding contracts, intended parents, facilities, etc. she is very knowledgeable.  She actually makes the whole situation, especially the delivery, easy to deal with because she has everything in place prior to the birth.  I would recommend anyone who is interested in surrogacy to Meryl."
