Finding the right gestational surrogate

Finding the right gestational surrogate is immensely important to us. We will assist you in finding just the right gestational surrogate. Meryl personally and carefully selects gestational surrogates, and then she matches the intended parents and the gestational surrogates together based on a number of criteria.

We ensure that an extensive application is obtained from each prospective gestational surrogate. The applicants are  interviewed, background and insurance checks are completed, and a mental health screening is conducted prior to any meeting between the intended parents and the gestational surrogate.

Ultimately, it is the parties' personal decision to work together. As intended parents, you will have the chance to choose a gestational surrogate with whom you feel comfortable.

Meryl will advise all the parties about the relevant state laws and any required legal proceedings.

 

Moving forward following your match

Once you have agreed upon a gestational surrogate,  Meryl will coordinate all aspects of the surrogacy arrangement. She will ensure that (1) all the appropriate psychological and medical screening is conducted and coordinated, and
(2) all the legal agreements are in place before any medical procedures begin to achieve the pregnancy.

• Once Meryl has submitted the gestational surrogate's information to your physician's office, she will assist you and your gestational surrogate with coordinating the screening process to ensure that it proceeds smoothly.
