New Jersey Surrogacy
ARTparenting accepts gestational surrogates from New Jersey.
We work with surrogates and intended parents from the state of New Jersey to form families through our complete surrogacy program.
On May 30, 2018, Governor Phil Murphy signed the Gestational Surrogacy Act, effective immediately. Our founder, Meryl B. Rosenberg, is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and is especially excited about the new law.
This new legislation regulates gestational surrogacy agreements and makes them enforceable while providing protections for all parties involved. It provides for pre-birth orders, allows for payment of reasonable living expenses for the gestational carrier, in addition to medical, legal, and counseling expenses during the pregnancy and the post-partum period. Most important, it protects the children born through gestational carrier arrangements.
