You may want to begin by exploring how our complete surrogacy program works: the financial aspects, the medical considerations, and the basic requirements for surrogates. Or, you can contact us directly to get your questions answered about Colorado surrogacy.
Since 1993, ARTparenting's founder, Meryl B. Rosenberg, Esq., has worked with hundreds of gestational surrogates in our surrogacy program. We handle every detail — from your very first contact with us through the birth of the child. A crucial feature of our program is the great care we take in matching our gestational surrogates with the right intended parents.
A gestational surrogate mother carries a child conceived through in-vitro fertilization (IVF) using the eggs from the intended mother or from an egg donor. The sperm is taken from the intended father or a sperm donor. This means the child will not be genetically related to the gestational surrogate.
Basic requirements for becoming a surrogate mother in Colorado:
• 21 to 43 years old
• Given birth to and raising at least one child
• Healthy non-smoker
• financially stable (not receiving public assistance)
• love being pregnant
Please read about the additional requirements for becoming a surrogate mother, and how the program works.
Experience, integrity, and personal attention help make ARTparenting's surrogacy program unique. We make sure that our surrogate mothers, as well as our intended parents, receive all the information, support and individual care they need.
Each gestational surrogate is a consulted in-depth about who she would prefer to help: intended parents who live locally or abroad, families that already have a child, gay men or heterosexual couples, among other preferences. Every match is a true partnership between the gestational carrier and the intended parents.
Meryl Rosenberg is known for her leadership and dedication to the field of reproductive law. Read about her work to improve the regulation of surrogacy in order to provide the best protections for all parties involved and to ensure legal recognition of the child’s intended parent.
Becoming a surrogate mother, or even seriously considering the possibility, means that you are a caring and generous woman who loves having your own family. The wish to help others experience the joy of parenthood is the inspiration behind ARTparenting’s work to help build families. First, let me applaud Meryl for all that she does at ARTparenting. From beginning to end, she was there for me in fulfilling my purpose. Becoming a surrogate had always been a thought in the back of my mind and I’m so grateful that Meryl could make it a reality.
Seeing the look on the IP’s faces when they held their son for the first time was priceless. I’m blessed to have been able to help complete their family. Without a doubt, I’ll do it all over again!’
